The Work

Artist

Kiitokiii is a Blackfoot artist from the Piikani Nation. Kiitokii's media includes painting, beadwork and textile. His art is influenced by his Blackfoot and Lakota heritage and various artists. He began creating his art as a teen, and that progressed to different art mediums, such as leather work and traditional tools. This later progressed to painting using various mixed mediums to create a multi faceted piece of fine art. Through the art he shares the stories, songs and dance of the plains people. Currently all work is done by commission, designing art with the clients vision in mind.

Music

As a professional guitarist, I have played in various venues and festivals. My love of the blues, classic rock and metal has brought me to perform in front of some amazing audiences. The House of Blues stated "First Nations Blues Slinger...an amazing talent".

Composing melodic blues melodies and I have collaborated with Juno Award talent in my career. Song writing and composing blues is my passion and I will be releasing my album soon. Stay tuned, HOKA!
